Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To isolate power supply interconnecting lines from each other so as to restrain power supply noises from propagating, and to restrain a surge absorbing region from decreasing in area due to the isolation of the power supply interconnecting lines simultaneously. SOLUTION: The semiconductor integrated circuit is equipped with first power supply interconnecting lines (2 and 3) connected to first external power supply terminals (VCC_IO and VSS_IO), and second power supply interconnecting lines (4 and 5) connected to second external power supply terminals (VCC and VSS). The first power supply interconnecting lines (2 and 3) supply an operating power supply to a first circuit, and the second power supply interconnecting lines (4 and 5) supply an operating power supply to a second circuit. The external terminals, such as the first and the second external power supply terminals, are equipped with ESD protective circuits (20 and 21) leading to the corresponding power supply interconnecting lines. ESD bridge circuits (22 and 23) are provided between the first power supply interconnecting lines and the second power supply interconnecting lines. A surge current or a surge voltage absorbed by the ESD protective circuit on the one power supply wiring interconnecting lines is propagated from the ESD bridge circuit to the other power supply interconnecting lines.
