Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for assaying 2-deoxyglucose-6-phosphate having excellent assaying properties by which practice can be carried out in a short time and the amount of uptake of glucoses into a cell can accurately be evaluated without requiring a special facility for using a radioisotope and without a risk of exposure to radioactivity. SOLUTION: This method for assaying the 2-deoxyglucose-6-phosphate is characterized as follows. The 2-deoxyglucose-6-phosphate in the cell is reacted with a reaction liquid containing (a) a glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, (b) oxidized form nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide or oxidized form nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate, (c) a diaphorase and (d) resazurin to measure the fluorescence intensity of the produced resorufin.
