Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding die of such a structure that a sliding core can be accurately actuated through its smooth sliding action without the inclining of the sliding core by bringing the sliding core into contact with a locking block, even when the value of the ratio (L/H) of substantial height H to the length L in a sliding direction of the sliding core, is low. SOLUTION: The molding die has the sliding core 1 and the locking block 3 which positions the sliding core 1 at a specified spot by sliding the sliding core 1 during molding. In addition, the sliding core 1 and the locking block 3 have their respective inclined surfaces 5 and 6 which come into contact with each other following the closing of the die. Besides, quick action parts 5a and 6a are formed on the inclined surfaces 5 and 6 of the sliding core 1 and the locking block 3 so that first the tip part Sa2 of the inclined surface 6 of the locking block 3 comes into contact with a part Sa1 near a support base end part 1a of the inclined surface 5 of the sliding core 1 and consequently, the sliding action of the sliding core 1 is initiated.
