Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that input of a character becomes very troublesome because the key arrangement is rotated when a portable telephone is held laterally and differentiates from the key arrangement when the portable telephone is held longitudinally. SOLUTION: When a laterally oblong television broadcast content is displayed while turning a longitudinally oblong portable terminal laterally by 90°, key arrangement of number keys 1-9 and a content printed at the upper part of a keypad are turned reversely by 90° so that position relation of the number keys 1-9 when a portable telephone is held longitudinally is sustained constantly.
