Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door for a bathroom of which the sliding screen can be removed with ease from a dressing room side. SOLUTION: In a sliding door 1 for a bath room in which a sliding screen 3 travels on the lower rail 5 and the upper frame 7 and opens/closes, the upper rail 7 is provided with a groove 55 opened at the lower part of the screen 3 and an upper rail 15 guiding the motion of the screen 3 in the groove. The screen 3 is provided with a travel guide 9 engaging with the upper rail 15 to guide the motion of the screen 3. The travel guide 9 can freely be moved between an engaged position of being engaged with the upper rail 15 by projecting from the upper end of the screen 3 by operation of an operating member 47 formed at the side face of the dressing room and a disengaged position of being disengaged from the rail 15 by downward movement.
