Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of effectively preventing failure caused by contact of a bead core with a ply cord without bringing increase of the cost and deterioration of other functions. SOLUTION: When the pneumatic tire 10 is filled with an inner pressure or is rotated under a load, a carcass 14 is pulled to the radial direction outside (an arrow B direction), the carcass 14 is particularly pushed to a corner part 38a of the radial direction inner side and the tire axial direction inner side, bead wires 40 at the corner part 38a are one fewer than the bead wires 40 at the other corner parts, and a surface thereof is smooth. Thereby, a contact pressure of the ply cord with respect to the corner part 38a of the bead core 12 is reduced. Accordingly, the bead wire 40 and the ply cord are unlikely to abut to each other. Even when the bead wire 40 and the ply cord are directly abutted to each other, the contact pressure is low, and thereby wear can be restrained compared to the conventional ones, and the durability is drastically improved.
