Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braille cell capable of realizing miniaturization and cost reduction and more improving operability. SOLUTION: The braille cell comprises providing the side edge of a substrate 1 with a touch pins holding section 5 vertically movably holding a plurality of touch pins 6 for displaying the braille; arranging a plurality of piezoelectric element pieces 7 inserted with leaves of elastic conductive materials between two piezoelectric layers for vertically moving the touch pins 6 at the free end of the curving operation of the touch pins 6 in correspondence to the touch pins 6 on the surface of the substrate 1; providing a printed circuit board 2 formed with prescribed printed wiring 203 having terminals for electrically connecting the leaves of at least the piezoelectric element pieces 7; holding the fulcrum of the curving action of the piezoelectric element pieces 7 between a pair of conductive pins 8; and electrically connecting the two piezoelectric layers of the piezoelectric element pieces 7 to the printed wiring 203.
