Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a central control system for air conditioner controlling the functions of a plurality of air conditioners connected via a network and switching the operation mode of each air conditioner so as to restrain the total peak power of the plurality of air conditioners in operation within a reference power value. SOLUTION: This air conditioner central control system is constituted by including the plurality of air conditioners 100 and a central controller 200 that is connected to the plurality of air conditioners via the network for monitoring of the respective air conditioners and inputting control commands and that regulates the operation schedule of the respective air conditioners so as to control the operations of the respective air conditioners by restraining the total peak power consumed in operation of the plurality of air conditioners within the reference power value. Thereby, when the total peak power exceeds the reference power value, the whole air conditioning system is prevented from going down, and thus the safety of the air conditioning system is increased and the power consumption can be saved.
