PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an enamel wire replacing tool for a vertical type enamel baking device replacing enamel wires on an optional path with the other wires for baking an enamel paint on the wires running in plural turns of passing by winding the wires between a lower pulley and an upper pulley in plural turns. SOLUTION: An enamel painting path running in plural turns of passing by winding the wire w between a lower pulley PA and an upper pulley PB in the plural turns. On the vertical type enamel baking device comprising a painting device 7 applying enamel pain on the wire w passing through respective paths, and a baking furnace 11 for baking the enamel paint, on the enamel painting path, a holding mechanism h holding the wires so as to hole a running pitch of the wire W running on respective paths is mounted on a tool body g arranged in a manner of extending along the direction of the plurality of paths, and the wire w on the optional path are replaced on the other path by making the tool body g move together with the wire w and making the wire pass through either of the upper pulley or the lower pulley.
