Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of continuously forming a front-plate electrode for a plasma display panel (PDP) with a good printing precision by an intaglio offset printing system. SOLUTION: The method of forming the front-plate electrode for the PDP by the intaglio offset printing system comprises a process of printing a pattern with black ink containing black metals (1), a process of printing conductive metal ink in lamination on the black ink pattern (2), and a process of baking the ink pattern printed in lamination at 500°C or more (3) on a transparent base plate with the use of a transfer body with its surface rubber layer composed of silicone rubber, and the electrode pattern is printed with the use of ink containing black ink at a rate of 3 to 50 weight parts to 100 weight parts of resin. Here, a continuous printing property is reinforced by applying processes of heating and curing the surface of the silicone rubber layer and cooling the same after the transfer process.
