Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a vehicle not equipped with a car navigation device to be informed of its positional information. SOLUTION: While this car-navigation system is applied to a mobile communications system, it is connected to the cellular phone 1 carried in the car 71, the cellular phone 2 carried in the car 72, the car navigation device 3 connected with the cellular phone 2, the base stations 41, 42 linked to the public land mobile network (PLMN) 5 in which mobile data transmission services are possible, and PLMN 5. In addition, in response to the demand from the cellular phone 2 asking for the position information on the cellular phone 1, it is equipped with the position information center 6 which reports the position information about the cellular phone 1 to the car navigation device 3 through the cellular phone 2 after the search of the position information on the cellular phone 1.
