Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aligning device of a plate which surely performs an aligning for the plate of any material in a short time without depending on the skill of a worker. SOLUTION: This aligning device 20 is arranged on an upstream side of a cutting means 40 for cutting the plate A in a length direction to fix the width direction position of the plate A. The device 20 is provided with a plurality of side stoppers 21 each of which has an independent moving means 22 and has an arbitrarily set plate width direction position at intervals in a length direction, and an extruding member 23 as a means for pushing a width direction end part of the plate A on the side stoppers 21 by realizing a relative movement of the width direction between the plate A and the side stoppers 21.
