Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellently usable spatula heating device overcoming deficiency of both gas burner type and electric heating type heating devices. SOLUTION: The heating device for heating spatulas 9 and 9a for wax-forming comprises a heating coil 8 for electro-magnetically induction-heating the spatulas 9 and 9a, a heating quantity setting switch 5 for setting the quantity of heating, and an inverter control circuit for applying high-frequency electric currents to the heating coil 8 and heating the spatulas with a set quantity of heating. When it is determined that the spatulas 9 and 9a are present based on the detection outputted from an input current detection circuit, the high-frequency electric currents are applied to the heating coil 8 and the spatulas are heated with the maximum quantity of heating.
