Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adapter (simplified digital broadcast receiver), shared receiver and control method of the shared receiver in which stable operations can be ensured even when the shared receiver and a ground adapter are not connected in one-to-one correspondence but are in many-to-one connection relation. SOLUTION: An adapter 31A or the like is provided with an owner GUID storage part 43 for storing a GUID of the shared receiver for transmitting its full TS signal via an IEEE1394 bus, and the ground adapter 31 of the shared receiver is inhibited from being used except for the GUID stored in the owner GUID storage part 43.
