PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beautiful laminate which is low in coating amount and excellent in printability and a method for producing the laminate. SOLUTION: In the laminate, a layer containing fine long fibers is laminated on at least one side of a paper support mainly made of cellulose fibers, and on the layer, a layer containing at least a pigment and/or a resin is laminated. While voltage is applied between an electrode contacting a long fiber raw material solution packed in a container having an orifice and an electrode plate arranged opposite to the orifice, the raw material solution is sprayed from the orifice to form the layer containing the long fibers on the surface of the paper support arranged on the electrode plate, and on the layer, a coating layer is formed.
