PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an original plate for lithographic printing for CTP capable of obtaining a printing plate, which is photosensitized by light in near IR region, can be handled in a room light, on which a picture can be drawn directly with a laser beam, which dispenses with development and a wiping operation, substantially suppresses the generation of the surface stain in a non-image area, has high ink adhesion properties to an image area and can achieve sharp and high quality printing. SOLUTION: The original plate for lithographic printing has, on a support, a hydrophilic resin photosensitive layer with characteristic in which an exposed region surface is changed from a hydrophilic property to an inkphilic property by laser exposure, is characterized in that the contact angle of the image section comprising 100% dots to water is 45° or more in 10 seconds after liquid-contact when irradiated with a laser beam according to the printing image, and the contact angle of the non-image section to water is 50° or less in 0.1 second after the liquid-contact or 35° or less in 10 seconds after the liquid-contact.
