Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-tensile steel strip having different mechanical properties, especially hole expansion property and stretching property, in the width direction of the steel strip after finish rolling, which are imparted by controlling the temperature of the steel plate in a desired distribution in the width direction of the steel strip at the exit side of the hot-rolled finish rolling machine and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The high-tensile steel strip is characterized by the feature that the steel strip having different mechanical properties such as the hole expansion and stretching properties in the width direction of the steel strip is integrally formed by rolling. Further, in the manufacturing method of the steel strip, the different mechanical properties such as the hole expansion and stretching properties in the width direction of the steel strip are imparted by controlling a rising temperature in a desired quantity in the width direction of a rough bar at a finish rolling entrance side or between a finish rolling stands.
