Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cordless master-slave phone instrument capable of shortening time required for connecting wireless communication between a master unit and a slave unit. SOLUTION: The standby slave unit selects one communication channel at a time (S11) as shown in the figure (b), and determines a carrier for the selected available channel (S12). When no carrier is determined, a channel list to permit use of a slave unit is updated with the selected communication channel as an available channel (S13). A standby master unit selects one available channel at a time in the channel list to permit use of the slave unit as shown in the figure (a) (S02), and determines a carrier on the selected communication channel (S04).
