Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nickel-hydrogen storage battery which maintains high output characteristics and a low self-discharge rate for a long period by regulating a zinc volume, cobalt volume, and manganese volume precipitated in a separator. SOLUTION: The nickel-hydrogen storage battery has zinc added in a positive electrode so that a zinc volume precipitated in the separator is 0.4 mass% or less to a mass of the separator, has cobalt added in the positive electrode so that a cobalt volume precipitated in the separator is 0.5 mass% or less to the volume of the separator, and has manganese contained in a hydrogen storage alloy so that a manganese volume precipitated in the separator is 4.0 mass% or less to the mass of the separator.
