Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic video display device where a display panel ordinarily used for two-dimensional video display is also used for stereoscopic video display. SOLUTION: The stereoscopic video display device is constituted of a liquid crystal display device 1 displaying a video taken from a plurality of viewpoints, and a video splitting device installed to the display device 1 removably and having a video splitting panel 23 which splits video light from the display panel 11 into a pair of video light as video light from a pair of viewpoints corresponding to right and left eyes. The video splitting device 2 is equipped with a cover member 21 (1st member) nearly fixed in a horizontal direction to the display panel 11, a supporting frame 22 (2nd member) to which the video splitting panel 23 is attached and which is attached to the cover member 21 freely movably, and an adjusting means adjusting a spatial position between the video splitting panel 23 and the display panel 11 by moving the frame 22 with respect to the cover member 21.
