SOLUTION: In this indoor unit which comprises a main body casing 114 having a fan 111 rotating around a vertical axis at its center part, a suction port 116 formed on a lower face central part, and a plurality of blowout ports 117 polygonally arranged at an outer side of the suction port 116, and a panel 115 covering the suction port 116 and provided with a suction grill 115a at its central part, and wherein the main body casing 114 is buried in a ceiling face, an outline of the suction grill 115 has the approximately circular or polygonal shape of octagon or more in a plan view.
