Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic brake device capable of securely forming a clearance between a disk attracted to an electromagnetic frame, against a pushing force of a brake spring when energizing an electromagnetic coil, and a braking plate. SOLUTION: A frame 7 is provided with the electromagnetic frame 8, and the braking plate 11 is engaged with a rotary shaft 2 provided in the frame 7 so that the braking plate 11 cannot be displaced in the rotating direction, and the disk 15 is engaged with the electromagnetic frame 8 so that it cannot be displaced in the rotating direction, and arranged opposite to the braking plate 11. The brake spring 10 is provided to energize both of the braking plate 11 and the disk 15 in directions for coming close to each other, and the electromagnetic coil 9 is provided to attract the disk 15 in a direction separating from the braking plate 11, resisting the energizing force of the brake spring 11. Furthermore, a first magnet piece 20 is installed in one of the braking plate 11 and the disk 15, and a second magnet piece 21 is installed in the other thereof and poles thereof are arranged opposite to that of the first magnet piece 20 to form a clearance between them with the repellent force of each other.
