Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent an increase in the concentration of nitrogen oxide in combustion exhaust gas without receiving the influences of the installation conditions of a radiant tube burner device or of the thermal deformation thereof. SOLUTION: The burner device comprises a circular plate 10, an annular air throat portion 2, a cylindrical outer periphery cover 30, and heat transfer pipes 11, 16. The front end of the outer periphery cover is integrated with the outer edge of the circular plate so that secondary combustion air in the air throat portion is prevented from leaking from the outer periphery of the circular plate into an air dilution chamber 3. The increase in the concentration of nitrogen oxide in the combustion exhaust gas is surely prevented without receiving the influences of the installation conditions of the radiant tube burner device or of the thermal deformation thereof.
