SOLUTION: In the heat-sensitive recording material having a plurality of layers including at least a heat-sensitive recording layer on a support, between at least one pair of two layers adjacent to each other in a plurality of the layers, an intermediate layer including gelatine as a binder is present under the condition that the intermediate layer is coated with a coating liquid having a B-type viscosity at 40°C of 40-500 mPa s.
