Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photo conductor cleaning device having a cleaning blade not for increasing edge strength of the cleaning blade depending on materials of the cleaning blade but for increasing the edge strength in the mechanical shape. SOLUTION: In the photo conductor cleaning device which eliminates the remaining transferred toner adhered on a photo conductor 1 by bringing the cleaning blade 2 consisting of an elastic blade in contact with the photo conductor 1 in the opposite direction, an edge section angle of a corner part to be in contact with the photo conductor 1 of the cleaning blade 2 is larger than 90 degrees.
