Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat panel display apparatus having a packaging structure which realizes a low cost, a simplified process of wiring, or the like. SOLUTION: First and second terminal groups GR1 and GR2 adjacent to each other and a third terminal group GR3 apart from the first and second terminal groups GR1 and GR2 are formed on the outer side end 24 of a back glass substrate 22 in a display body. The first terminal group GR1 is composed of connecting terminals formed at wiring patterns A1 to Ak to be connected to display electrodes, while the second and third terminal groups GR2 and GR3 are connected to each other by specified wiring patterns B11 to B1m and B21 to B2n. Connecting terminals CA1 to CAk, CB11 to CB1m and CB21 to CB2n corresponding to the first and second terminal groups GR1 and GR2 are formed in the connecting end 52 of a TCP 50 having a driver IC 51. In the wiring process, the connecting end 52 and the first and second terminal groups GR1 and GR2 are connected together by heat pressing and the third terminal group GR3 is connected via a flat cable 60 made of an FPC (Flexible Printed Circuit) or FFC (Flexible Flat Cable) to the connecting terminals CD1 to CDj of a circuit board 40.
