Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement a radio controlled clock capable of detecting and automatically correcting errors in time difference information and displaying a correct time even if a user of the radio controlled clock has inputted time difference information having a displacement of 12 hours due to a mistake between forenoon and afternoon at the input of time difference information for time correction. SOLUTION: The radio controlled clock comprises a reception part 20 for receiving a standard time; a timing circuit 23 for inputting a set time and timing time information; a display part 3 for displaying the time information from the timing circuit 23; a time difference memory 26 for storing a time difference to the standard time required by the user; and an arithmetic circuit 27 for outputting the set time to the timing circuit 23. The arithmetic circuit 27 detects an error between forenoon and afternoon in the time difference stored in the time difference memory 26, corrects the error between forenoon and afternoon in the time difference in the case that the error is detected, and computes the set time on the basis of a corrected time difference and the standard time.
