Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish the positional regulation of a seal member 70 and a guide of a piston 20 by a simple structure. SOLUTION: This master cylinder is constituted to perform the positional regulation of the seal member 70 and the guide function of the piston 20 by a ring member 80. One end 802 of the ring member 80 enters the inside of a cylinder hole 12 of a cylinder body 14, and the other end 801 is positioned at the outside of the cylinder hole 12. The other end 801 at the outside regulates the position of the seal member 70. A piston guide 820 is provided at the inner wall of the center hole 82 of the ring member 80.
