Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yield-improved optical element block for an optical receptacle. SOLUTION: The optical element block 10 is composed of two stereoscopic circuit molded products 11 on the transmitting end and the receiving end and a circuit board 30 composed of one double-side printed circuit board. On the front of each stereoscopic circuit molded product 11, an optical element mounting base 12 is projectingly provided, with an optical element (light emitting diode LD or light receiving diode) mounted on the tip end face of the mounting base 12, and with a lens 14 formed on the front of the optical element. On the rear face of the circuit board 30, there are mounted integrated circuit elements IC1, IC2 in which the signal processing circuits of the optical element are integrated. An electrode 20 projectingly provided on the rear face of each stereoscopic circuit molded product 11 is inserted into the through hole 31 of the circuit board 30 and soldered, thereby electrically and mechanically connecting each stereoscopic circuit molded product 11 and the circuit board 30.
