Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable printing quality by stabilizing paper speed in starting printing without receiving an effect of load difference due to paper continuous amount of printed paper, in a paper conveyance control method of an electrophotographic printing apparatus. SOLUTION: In the paper conveying device of the electrophotographic printing apparatus, printed paper fed from a conveying roller driven by a conveying roller driving motor is brought into contact with a photosensitive drum surface on which a toner image is formed by an electrophotographic process, and the printed paper transferred with the toner image by a transcriber is fed to a fixing device. The paper conveying device has a control means allowing setting of a plurality of restriction values of current flowing through the conveying roller driving motor and selecting of any of the plurality of restriction values of current in response to the paper continuous amount of the used printed paper.
