PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fin tube type heat exchanger of a combination type of an integral fin group and a divisional fin group improved in heat exchanging performance, and to provide an outdoor machine for air conditioner improved in its heat exchanging performance. SOLUTION: This fin tube type heat exchanger is constituted by combining heat transfer tubes 4a of a plurality of rows arranged in the air flow direction, the integral fin group 4b superposed onto the heat transfer tubes 4a of the plurality of rows at specific pitches, and the divisional fin group 4c divisionally superposed onto every row of the heat transfer tubes 4a of the plurality of rows, in the extending direction of the heat transfer tubes. The fin pitch P1 of the integral fin group 4b is larger than the fin pitch P2 of the divisional fin group 4c.
