Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan motor which can minimize a reduction in amount of intake air even when a suction port is arranged close to the structure. SOLUTION: A rectifying plate 2 comprising three stay sections 2a, 2b and 2c is provided on the side of the suction port 6a of an axial fan motor 1. Holes 9a, 9b and 9c at the top ends of the respective stay sections of the rectifying plate 2 are attached to through-holes 5a, 5c and 5d of a venturi 6 by screws. Even when the suction port 6a is arranged close to the structure, it is possible to minimize reduction in an amount of the intake air as compared with a conventional axial fan motor.
