Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation control device for an electronic key system, which can eliminate unauthentic operation of a control object by an outsider to the utmost. SOLUTION: According to the operation control device, if the number of times of engine starting exceeds a permitted third limited value, engine starting is only permitted when the operator has a portable key 3 corresponding to the control object in addition to an immobilizer key 2. Therefore, even if the immobilizer key 2 corresponding to the control object is used by the outsider against the will of the authentic user, the engine starting is not permitted only by using the immobilizer key 2.
