Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tetrahydrobenzindole derivative having selective binding ability to a 5-HT7receptor and highly stable against metabolism, and a pharmaceutical composition comprising the compound. SOLUTION: The compound is represented by general formula (I) (wherein R1and R3are each a hydrogen atom, a fluorine atom, a chlorine atom or a bromine atom; and R2is a hydroxy group, a fluorine atom, a chlorine atom or a bromine atom, provided that when both R1and R3are a hydrogen atom, R2is a fluorine atom or a chlorine atom).
