Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic picture display device having simple constitution by which a multi-viewpoint stereoscopic picture can be observed in an almost natural state by many persons. SOLUTION: The stereoscopic picture display device 100 is constituted of a plurality of video display parts 1 to 11, respective lenses 12 to 22 forming the picture of a video from a video display part, and a screen 23 diffracting the picture of the video formed by the lens and condensing it on observing positions 24 to 34. In such a case, the display parts 1 to 11 are arranged so that the reaching position and the observing position of the light which is transmitted through the screen 23 and whose light beam direction is not changed may not be aligned. A parallactic video which becomes a viewpoint corresponding to the observer's one-side eye for the observing position is displayed on each video display part, and such a video is observed at the observing position. For example, when an observer's right eye is located at the observing position 24 and an observer's left eye is located at the observing position 25, the observer observes the three-dimensional stereoscopic video with the observing positions 24-25 as the viewpoints.
