Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of setting a system provided with a plurality of solar protection and/or lighting devices controlled by a central unit with a memory, a calculation means and a user interface. SOLUTION: This method is provided with the following steps for each solar protection and/or lighting device of the system. Namely, the steps include parameter setting and calculation steps consisting of a stage to input and record data for defining the openings equipped with solar protection devices, a stage to input and record data for defining the type of the device used, a stage to input and record data for defining the maximum desirable penetration depth of solar radiation into buildings and/or desired visual comfortableness. This method is also provided with another step between these steps to calculate coefficients and/or control algorithm for the control algorithm intended to control each device.
