Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently rotatably drive a steel pipe pile by a simple mechanism; and to extract the steel pipe pile when necessary in a rotary driver for rotatably driving the steel pipe pile in the ground for supporting a foundation of a building structure. SOLUTION: A plurality of projection parts 11 for forming a guide surface 12 are arranged at equal intervals outside a housing, and are installed outside the housing 10 by energizing spring force for pushing out in the outward direction to a friction body 6 for sliding along the guide surface 12.
