Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein residual pressure is generated in a low pressure side passage when switching forward or reverse rotation of an oil pump, thereby worsening steering feeling. SOLUTION: Wheels are steered and controlled by oil pressure supplied into and discharged from a first oil pressure chamber 6 and a second oil pressure chamber 7 relatively through a first passage 8 and a second passage 9 by the reversible type oil pump 11 in accordance with rotation operation of a steering wheel. Both discharge passages 13, 14 for discharging oil pressure in each passage into a reservoir 12 relatively are provided. The discharge passages are relatively opened and closed by each poppet valve 25, 26 by sliding a free piston 27 in accordance with difference in pressure between the first and second passages generated by operation of the oil pump in each discharge passage to discharge hydraulic fluid in the low pressure side passage into the reservoir.
