Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved manufacturing method (containing optimal sintering temperature and the like) of a thin film of a calcium phosphate material capable of supporting osteocyte activity on the thin film. SOLUTION: The sintered material is prepared by a mixing ammonium phosphate solution and a calcium nitrate solution to form hydroxyapatite-containing sol-gel. This sol-gel film is put on at least one side of a base layer, and a film is coated on the base layer and sintered to form a solid film of a calcium phosphate material. Hydroxyapatite is changed into α calcium triphosphate in the sintering step, and the changing degree shows the temperature dependency. The optimal composition is 50:50 to 20:80 in the ratio of the hydroxyapatite to the α tricalcium phosphate, and the sintering temperature is selected from the range of 920 to 1,100°C to obtain the optimal composition. The higher is the selected temperature in the range, the higher the ratio of α tricalcium phosphate is. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
