Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform smooth and accurate transmission power control by suppressing rapid gain change even though transmission power greatly changes when closed loop control that strides over a threshold being a detection limit of the transmission power is performed. SOLUTION: Transmission power of one's own station is detected, and the error between the detected transmission power of its own station and transmission power set in accordance with a transmission power control bit transmitted to its own station from the opposite station party is calculated. An error in controlling a gain of a variable gain amplifier is suppressed by providing a buffering means of a transmission power determining part, an error integrating part, or the like, which prevents the calculated error from greatly changing when the transmission power greatly changes at the time of controlling the transmission power which strides over the threshold being the detection limit of the transmission power.
