Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a tape which is easy to manufacture and can be simply torn off by fastening a nail tip on the tape in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the tape after the tape is wound around piping. SOLUTION: The polyethylene tape is constituted by integrally laminating an upper surface polyethylene sheet 11 with a film thickness of 20 to 150 μm of which the undersurface is subjected to corona discharge treatment, an intermediate polyethylene sheet 13 having a film thickness of 5 to 50 μm and a lower surface polyethylene sheet 15 with a film thickness of 5 to 50 μm of which the undersurface is subjected to corona discharge treatment. The polyethylene tape is also constituted so as to have a two-layered structure wherein the upper surface polyethylene sheet 11 and the lower surface polyethylene sheet 15 are dry-laminated. In addition, reverse printing 12 is applied to the undersurface of the upper surface polyethylene sheet 11 and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is formed on the undersurface of the lower surface polyethylene sheet 15.
