Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a tape which is easy to manufacture and can be simply torn off by fastening a nail tip on the tape in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the tape after the tape is wound around piping. SOLUTION: The polyethylene tape is constituted by integrally laminating an upper surface polyethylene sheet 11 with a film thickness of 20 to 150 μm of which the undersurface is subjected to corona discharge treatment, an intermediate polyethylene sheet 13 having a film thickness of 5 to 50 μm and a lower surface polyethylene sheet 15 with a film thickness of 5 to 50 μm of which the undersurface is subjected to corona discharge treatment. The polyethylene tape is also constituted so as to have a two-layered structure wherein the upper surface polyethylene sheet 11 and the lower surface polyethylene sheet 15 are dry-laminated. In addition, reverse printing 12 is applied to the undersurface of the upper surface polyethylene sheet 11 and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is formed on the undersurface of the lower surface polyethylene sheet 15. The film thickness ratio of the upper surface polyethylene sheet 11 to the lower surface polyethylene sheet 15 is 1 or more. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
