Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling apparatus for a tank made of a synthetic resin capable of enhancing the turnover ratio of a mold and capable of still more shortening the cooling time of the molded tank, and a cooling method using the same. SOLUTION: This cooling apparatus is constituted so as to cool the tank formed into a hollow shape using a thermoplastic synthetic resin material and has fixtures (3 and 4) equipped with shape holding members (24) coming into contact with the outer surface of the tank (1) taken out of a mold at the lowest limit self-retainable temperature slightly lower than the melting point of the synthetic resin material, shower nozzles (12 and 13) for spraying a cooling liquid on the tank mounted on the fixtures and flow means (31 and 41) for allowing cooling air to flow into the tank, to cool the outside of the tank with the cooling liquid while cooling the inside thereof by air. Since the tank can be taken out of the mold at a temperature markedly higher than a conventional temperature by this constitution, the turnover ratio of the mold can be enhanced. Further, since buoyancy or water pressure is not applied by spraying the cooling liquid on the outside of the tank, the occurrence of strain can be suppressed. Since the inside of the tank is cooled by air, a cooling time can be still more shortened. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
