Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an implement for correcting how to hold a writing utensil which easily realizes the correct way of holding the writing utensil and ensures the sufficiently stable holding of the writing utensil in the correct holding way even during its use. SOLUTION: This implement has a part 16 with which the thumb comes into contact formed on the opposed side to a recessed part 15 at the main body 11, a part 17 with which the forefinger comes into contact formed on he surface of an extension part 13 and a part 18 with which the middle finger comes into contact formed on the recessed part 15 side of a wall-like part 14. In addition, Each contact part 16, 17 and 18 is shaped to allow at least a part of the belly side of each finger to come into contact with the part 16, l7 and 18, and the wall-like part 14 is rigid enough to endure an external force to be inflicted by the middle finger coming into contact with the part 18.
