Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling a furnace pressure in a box-type annealing furnace to effectively prevent occurrence of a temper color, together with improving annealing efficiency by shortening a cooling time, in a cooling step after the box-type annealing. SOLUTION: This method controls the furnace pressure when starting cooling in the box-type annealing furnace into the positive pressure in the range of +0.49 to 6.47 kPa (+50 to 660 mmH2O), by monitoring the pressure of an atmospheric gas in an inner cover when a furnace body has been dismounted, and adjusting an opening of a flow control valve at an inlet on the basis of the result.
