SOLUTION: Molten metal tending to flow from a tapping chamber 10 side to a holding chamber 20 side when the molten metal is tapped from the tapping chamber 10 via a first opening 11 is shut off by the abutment of a valve 42 on an upper die 43a in a communication path 41, and the amount of tapping of the molten metal from the first opening 11 is ensured. Since the valve 42 is operated by the flow of the molten metal flowing in the communication path 41, no actuator or connection rod to operate a tap in the molten metal is required, and the molten metal can be tapped with a compact and simple configuration.
