Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise dust collection performance by effectively removing dust stuck and deposited inside a dust collecting means, reducing the reduction of a suction air. SOLUTION: A vacuum cleaner includes: an electric blower 5 for generating the suction air; the dust collecting means 3 consisting of a hard fixing part 9 and a dust collecting part 10 for collecting dust; and a dust collecting chamber 4 for storing the dust collecting means 3. The dust collecting means 3 is held in the dust collecting chamber 4 by the fixing part 9, and also provided with a dust removing means 30 for removing dust stuck to the dust collecting part 10.
