Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens driving device consisting of a lead screw 8 and a nut 9 and constituted so that a mechanical lock state hardly occurs because the nut for feeding 9 exceeds a movable range and collides with a mechanical end or the device is surely restored from the mechanical lock state even if the mechanical lock state has occurred. SOLUTION: By providing a hemispherical projection 9b on a plane on which the nut 9 abuts when it reaches the mechanical end, the area of the abutting part is reduced and a friction coefficient is effectively made small, thereby, the biting force of the nut 9 at the time of mechanical lock or mechanical lock releasing force after the mechanical lock is reduced.
