Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature measuring resistor input device, which shortens the time necessary for detecting a breakage of a multi-wire type temperature measuring resistor or a disconnection of each connection wire, and makes the measurement result into a wave form suitable for a burn up or burn down process, when the disconnection arises. SOLUTION: There are provided: a bridge circuit 5 for determining a voltage drop amount generated between leads for the connection of the temperature measuring resistor 2; a first hardware filter 6 for removing a noise from the output signal of the bridge circuit 5; a comparison circuit 20 for detecting, from the output of the bridge circuit 5, the abnormal voltage when abnormality in the temperature measuring resistor or the lead arises; a second hardware filter 21 for removing a noise from the output of the comparison circuit 20; an ADC (analog/digital converter) circuit 8 for converting the outputs of the first and the second hardware filters into digital data; and a microcomputer 9 which receives the output of the ADC circuit 8 to calculate the measured temperature value of an object to be measured and which outputs a signal for the burn up or burn down process when the abnormality arises.
