PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device capable of preventing deterioration in oil property in an oil film chamber, providing excellent sealing function of a seal member, and stabilizing buffer function of a high pressure oil film for a long time. SOLUTION: In this bearing device constituted in such a way that a pair of annular seal channels 34 arranged in parallel in the axial direction are formed on an outer peripheral face of a bearing 6 fitted and inserted into a bearing housing 5, a pair of seal members 35 mounted in these seal channels 34 supply oil into the annular oil film chamber 36 partitioned between the outer peripheral face of the bearing 6 and an inner peripheral face of the bearing housing 5 to form a high pressure oil film, one abutment 35a adhering closely to the inner peripheral face of the bearing housing 5 by itself is provided in the seal member 35 to give outward springing force in the radial direction, and the seal member 35 is mounted in the seal channel 34 so that its one side face and the inner peripheral face face the oil film chamber 36.
